Sejarah Ringkas 简史:
1. Tahun 1944 - Sebuah sekolah kecil telah didirikan di dalam Kampung Kuala Rui.
1944年 - 在高拉雷新村范围内成立一所规模很小的华小。
2. Tahun 1949 - 2 bilik darjah telah didirikan untuk murid tahun 2 dan tahun 3.
1949年 - 成立两间课室为二年级和三年级学生的课室。
3. Tahun1952 - 3 bilik darjah telah didirikan untuk murid tahun 4, tahun 5 dan tahun 6.
1952年 - 成立三间课室为四、五和六年纪的课室。
4. Tahun 1983 - Berpindah ke lokasi baru sekolah seperti sedia ada sampai sekarang.
1983年 - 学校搬迁至新校舍地点至今。
VISI
Menjadikan Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Kuala Rui, Sekolah Terbilang.
宏愿
将高拉雷华文小学成为一所驰名卓越的学校。

MISI
Kami bersama-sama melaksanakan sistem pendidikan berteraskan ilmu pengetahuan untuk melahirkan kecemerlangan yang bertaraf kebangsaan dalam bidang :
(a) Pengurusan dan kepemimpinan yang cekap, berkesan, telus dan tulus.
(b) Akademik yang berasaskan pengurusan pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang berkualiti bagi mencapai keputusan peperiksaan awam yang terbilang.
(c) Sahsiah yang berasaskan program saintifik dan inovatif.
(d) Kokurikulum yang berasaskan pembinaan generasi bestari, jati diri dan integrasi nasional.
(b) Akademik yang berasaskan pengurusan pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang berkualiti bagi mencapai keputusan peperiksaan awam yang terbilang.
(c) Sahsiah yang berasaskan program saintifik dan inovatif.
(d) Kokurikulum yang berasaskan pembinaan generasi bestari, jati diri dan integrasi nasional.

1. Memperkasa kepimpinan instruksional dan transformasional.
2. Membangun dan meningkatkan kualiti warga pendidikan.
3. Membudayakan headcount.
4. Melaksanakan pemantauan dan penyeliaan secara bersepadu.
5. Memantapkan pelaksanaan program kecemerlangan dan program khas.
Visi KPM:
